Special effects have been used in film for over a hundred years, whether they have been noticed by audiences or not. This part of the movie industry has gradually improved over time and can now be indistinguishable from real life. These effects can range from stunts, models, and quick editing of the film all the way up to creating an entire world digitally. While there is a debate over whether practical, in camera, effects are better than Computer Generated effects, they are both ingenious and constantly being refined. Without special effects the movies would have a little less magic.
